U17 V Kingscourt
St Joseph 3 10 Kingscourt 1 08
The u17s opened their 2018 season with a good win over Kingscourt in the first round of D3 league.
After a slow start which saw them 1 02 behind the team turned the match around and a number of excellent displays across the field saw them close the game comfortably with 8 points to spare. Of particular note was the performance of the man between the posts. Conor kept Joe’s in the match with a great penalty save and 2 great one on one saves proving the goalkeeper is one of the most important positions on the field. Around the field everyone else did their job, well done lads.
Team: Conor O Reilly, Ryan Galligan, Ryan Dinneny, Caleb Boughtwood, Aaron Shanaghy, Emmet Kiernan, Jamie Gray, Robin Noack, Hofmann (0-1) Daniel Daly (0-1) Jordan Galligan (2 03) Shane Dobson Nathan Simpson Darragh O Reilly (1 05),
