Loop the lakes charity run
Loop of the lakes charity run has return and will take place on Saturday 1st September it is delighted to be once again supporting SoSad Cavan and Pieta House, Preventing suicide and self harm. The online booking has open and the link can be found on there Facebook page or the Killeshandra GAA page please support this amazing event. 

Cardiac Screening Programme
Saturday the 6th October is confirmed for the Cardiac Screening Programme the Cardiac Screening Service is ultimately aimed at reducing the incidents of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) in Ireland. Appointments are 15 minutes slots and you should allow 20/25 minutes per appointment. To make a booking please go to
and click on the “online booking” and enter the clinic code Leaguers. Please note you will need to set up an account and password but should only take 5/10 minutes.

Round 3
Killeshandra v Cornafean on Sunday 26th  August the game ended Killeshandra 2-12 Cornafean 1-10.
The game started at 14:04 Cornafean missed the first two chances at points before Jack Wharton open the score with the first point of the game two minutes in. The game got of to a slow start by both teams and it took the Leaguers eight minutes to get there first point on the board thanks to a great point by Daniel Luby. Cornafean got the next two points from frees in the Twelfth one by Jack Wharton and another by Barry Boyle in the Thirteenth minute. Barry Doyle secured the forth point for Cornafean in the Twenty second minute follow a minute later by a goal my Andrew Wharton. The game seen a lot of stops and starts in the first half and also a change on the Leaguers team Conor McGearty came on for Austin Fitzpatrick. Killeshandra did responded by getting the next two points one by Shane O Reilly and a great point from half way line by Conor McGearty. Cornafean Narrowly missing getting another goal in the Twenty-forth minute. Killeshandra’s Thomas O Reilly got the forth point for the Leaguers. Barry Doyle and Liam Duignan manage to get Cornafean two more points and Thomas O Reilly getting another point for Killeshandra before the half time whistle blew. Half time score Killeshandra 0-05 Cornafean 1-05. Second half got underway with a great start for Killeshandra they managed to get three points all by Shane O Reilly and a goal by Darren O’ Hanlon in the first eight minutes a free to Cornafean in the ninth minute gave them their first score of the second half thanks to Barry Doyle and another point by Barry in the tenth minute this took the game to a one point lead but Killeshandra Lengthened their lead in the next eight minutes by getting another two points from frees one from Eoin Brady and the second by Shane O Reilly and a goal by Cein Sweeney the Leaguers had found their form and Cornafean where struggling to get anything by them but a free to Cornafean’s Barry Doyle gave them their third point of the second half and an attempt at goal from Liam Duignan but it was saved by Darragh Tighe. Daniel Luby and Thomas O Reilly get Killeshandra another two points to extend there lead by seven points but as the game was near the end Cornafean’s Barry Doyle and Jason Miney brought the game back to a five points as the referee blew the whistle for full time. Game ended Killeshandra 2-12 Cornafean 1-10. Congratulation to all involved and thanks to Ballinagh GAA for hosting the game.

A/K Ladies
Congratulations to the ladies who won their Semi Final game today Sunday against Castlerahan Denn with a score line A/K Ladies 4-12 Castlerahan Denn 1-08 this see the ladies in the Final Next Saturday 1st September against Baileboro. Please support the ladies and best of luck to all involved.  

Girls U10s to U15s Training
Girls U10s to U15s training is on Saturday mornings from 11.30am to 12.30pm in Killeshandra training pitch.

Underage Training
Congratulations to the U11s who won there game against Templeport on Wednesday evening Killeshandra 2-13 Templeport 0-04. Underage training is now at the pitch from 10am on Saturday mornings U7s up to U11s.
