Save Our Post Office

As you are all aware Killeshandra post office is one of many for closure come the end of October. This is a vital service to our community as we have now been left with no bank or credit union we now need to keep the post office open so if all could please sign the petitions which have been left in all businesses around the town please. Thank you.

Cardiac Screening Programme

Saturday the 6th October is confirmed for the Cardiac Screening Programme the Cardiac Screening Service is ultimately aimed at reducing the incidents of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) in Ireland. Appointments are 15 minutes slots and you should allow 20/25 minutes per appointment. To make a booking please go to and click on the “online booking” and enter the clinic code Leaguers. Please note you will need to set up an account and password but should only take 5/10 minutes.

Important Scor Meeting

There is an important meeting being held next Friday night the 28th September at 8pm in Killeshandra Clubrooms about the Junior Scor. If anybody has any interest in taking over the Junior Scor please attend this meeting, if we don't get any interest in this we will have no option but to cease Junior Scor.

U17s Championship Division 3

U17 Semi Final Championship

St. Joseph’s v Laragh Utd on Saturday the game ended St Joseph’s 3-16 Laragh Utd 5-19. Unlucky lads but congratulations to you all on reaching the Semi Final and for all you have achieved this year in Division 2. Well done lads and to the management coaches and parents.

Ulster Ladies Intermediate Championships

Arva/Killeshandra v Naomh Conaill on Sunday 23rd the game ended Arva/Killeshandra 1-15 Naomh Conaill 1-02. Congratulations ladies on a great win.

Girls U10s to U15s Training

Girls U10s to U15s training is on Saturday mornings from 11.30am to 12.30pm in Killeshandra training pitch.

Underage Training

The U11s are holding a Memorial Tournament on Saturday 29th September at 10am in memory of Michael Fay. Wishing everyone taking part the very best of luck.
